I've been waiting for this. What's the cap on ROMs and what hardware do we need to upload them?

All you need is USB connection with PC.
    Emulator supports mappers: 0 (NROM), 1 (MMC1), 2 (UxROM), 3 (CNROM), 4 (MMC3), 5 (MMC5), 7 (AxROM), 9 (MMC2), 10 (MMC4).

That's awesome. Can you give an overview of all the advanced users arguments?

Thanks. Two other questions: Do you need to boot your NES Mini in FEL mode? Do you require a save of Super Mario Bros in slot 1?

Is there also an option to hide individual games from the original 30? I dislike a few and I'd love to hide those from my view.

And it's really that simple? No further requirements?

Yes, you need to use FEL mode. Just hold reset and press power to enable it.
    No, save is not required.

You can only hide all 30 games at once. Maybe i'll add option to select games later.

I don't know. I think that shell has some limit. I have flashed 64 games including default 30 without any problems. Need more testing.

Even though I don't own an NES Mini, I still think this is still pretty awesome...

    HELL
Same goes for me. This is an awesome tool! I am sure tons of people will use the hell out of it. I still think that a retro tribute system that only has 30 games on it is kinda silly, but being able to modify or add games makes it a bit more worth it in my opinion.

Or even better, an NES mini with an actual working cart slot and mini cartridges. That would have been epic.

    HELL
    Kinda like this, eh?

More details on that here, but yeah Nintendo would have made a killing if they had little carts... I can just see them selling out super quickly now...

On the NES Mini, there are two different 2P icons to show 2 player games. If it's white it's 2-player alternating, but if it's orange it's 2-player simultaneous. Can this app do that?

Using the EU version of the Classic I'm able to follow all steps but 1) the LED light does not turn off even after leaving for 15 minutes, and 2) when turning off and back on again, the selected games do not appear in the menu.

I also have access to the Japanese Famicom version, is there anything I can provide that help identify the problem? I have not tried on the Famicom yet.

    Thanks!

    Can't detect my nes mini...

    [edit]...bad usb cable.

-- I don't suppose anything can be done about unsupported mappers?

Apparently I'm getting a 'severe' virus warning on this. Deleting.
